Session 1 – Virtual (2 hours): Communication and Organization with Google Workspace

  • Gmail: Email organization and best practices for productive use
  • Google Calendar: Creating events, setting reminders, scheduling meetings, and managing shared calendars
  • Google Meet: Initiating video calls from Gmail and Calendar; utilizing collaboration features such as chat, recording, and screen sharing
  • Practical activity: A workday simulation using Gmail, Calendar, and Meet to coordinate team activities

Sessions 2, 3, and 4 – In-person (12 hours total): Productivity and Collaboration in the Cloud

  • Google Drive: Creating, organizing, and searching files; sharing documents and managing access permissions
  • Google Docs: Creating collaborative documents; utilizing comments, suggestions, and revision tracking
  • Google Sheets: Implementing basic formulas, pivot tables, and charts; engaging in real-time collaboration
  • Google Slides: Designing online presentations; fostering teamwork on presentation content
  • Communications – Chat/Gemini: Overview and practical usage of these tools
  • Practical activity: A group project where teams create a Drive folder containing a document, spreadsheet, and presentation that integrates AI features
