GUI programming
Developing a MATLAB code that is free from debug errors and produces correct results is a significant achievement. However, a set of key parameters in a simulation project controls its behavior. For this reason, and among others, an extra lecture on "Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programming" is included to place control over various parts of the simulation project at your fingertips, rather than requiring navigation through long source codes full of commands. Additionally, encapsulating your MATLAB code within a GUI facilitates presenting work in a way that allows combining multiple results in a single master window, making data comparison easier.
- What is a MATLAB GUI
- Structure of MATLAB GUI function file
- Main GUI components (important properties and values)
- Local and global variables
Note: The topics covered in each level of this course include, but are not limited to, those stated above. Moreover, the items in each particular lecture are subject to change depending on the needs of the learners and their research interests.

To fully leverage the extensive knowledge embedded in this training, participants should possess a foundational understanding of common programming languages and techniques. A strong command of undergraduate-level communications engineering concepts is highly recommended to ensure success in this advanced module.
