About This Course
This course explores three core pillars of Microsoft 365 enterprise administration: Microsoft 365 security management, compliance management, and device management. In the security management segment, you will investigate prevalent threat vectors and data breaches that organizations encounter today, alongside the strategies Microsoft 365 employs to mitigate these risks. You will become familiar with the Microsoft Secure Score and Azure Active Directory Identity Protection. Subsequently, you will learn to manage key Microsoft 365 security services, such as Exchange Online Protection, Advanced Threat Protection, Safe Attachments, and Safe Links. The course also introduces various reporting tools for monitoring security health. Moving from security services to threat intelligence, you will utilise the Security Dashboard and Advanced Threat Analytics to proactively address potential security breaches. With a solid grasp of Microsoft 365 security components, you will then examine the essential elements of Microsoft 365 compliance management. This starts with an overview of data governance, including data archiving and retention, Information Rights Management, Secure Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (S/MIME), Office 365 message encryption, and data loss prevention (DLP). You will then dive deeper into archiving and retention, focusing on in-place records management in SharePoint, Exchange archiving and retention, and retention policies within the Security and Compliance Center. Understanding these governance aspects, you will explore their implementation, such as establishing ethical walls in Exchange Online, creating DLP policies from built-in templates, developing custom DLP policies, protecting documents with DLP, and configuring policy tips. You will further learn to manage data governance in Microsoft 365, including email retention management, troubleshooting failed retention policies and tips, and handling sensitive data issues. Additionally, you will learn to implement Azure Information Protection and Windows Information Protection. This section concludes with training on managing search and investigation capabilities, including content search in the Security and Compliance Center, auditing log investigations, and managing advanced eDiscovery. Finally, the course provides a detailed look at Microsoft 365 device management. You will start by planning device management aspects, such as preparing Windows 10 devices for co-management. You will learn to transition from Configuration Manager to Intune and explore the Microsoft Store for Business and Mobile Application Management. Shifting from planning to implementation, you will focus on your Windows 10 deployment strategy, covering the implementation of Windows Autopilot, Windows Analytics, and Mobile Device Management (MDM). Regarding MDM, you will learn to deploy it, enroll devices, and manage device compliance.
