Important Notice: The certification content has been updated to reflect recent legislative changes, effective from 30 April 2021.
These updates apply to examinations taken with training providers starting from 31 July 2021. For candidates taking exams via Pearson Vue, the updated syllabus becomes effective from 1 September 2021.
Any further legislative amendments occurring between 1 May and 31 October 2021 will be incorporated into the next version of the syllabus, scheduled for release in January 2022.

This course is instructed by an expert NobleProg trainer who has been formally approved by BCS.
The fee covers the full delivery of the course syllabus by an approved BCS trainer and the BCS Foundation Data Protection exam. This exam can be completed remotely at the candidate’s convenience and is centrally invigilated by BCS. Upon successfully passing the multiple-choice exam with a score of at least 65%, participants will be awarded the accredited BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection.
Requirements
While not mandatory, having a foundational understanding of data protection law, basic IT knowledge, and familiarity with GDPR principles will provide a distinct advantage to participants.

Course - BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection
1. The BCS test exam questions were often incoherent or not related to the syllabus - which appears to be a trait of BCS course and exams 2. the subject matter was taught reading powerpoint slides full of text - the BCS should be providing at least some diagrammatic content and other visual aids especially as many people learn in very different ways - more than just reading text.
