Learning objectives
- Grasp the components and operational mechanics of a Quality Management System, including its primary processes
- Recognize the relationships between ISO 9001 and other relevant standards and regulatory frameworks
- Comprehend the strategies, methods, and techniques employed for implementing and managing a QMS
Educational approach
- Lecture sessions are enhanced with practical questions and real-world examples
- Hands-on exercises incorporate case studies and group discussions
- Mock tests are structured to reflect the format of the official Certification Exam
- Day 1: Introduction to core quality concepts, QMS structure, and ISO 9001 clauses 4–6
- Day 2: Coverage of ISO 9001 clauses 7–10 and the final certificate exam
The examination is designed to fully satisfy the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certificate Programme. It assesses the following competency domains:
Domain 1: Core concepts and principles of quality management and a QMS based on ISO 9001
Domain 2: ISO 9001 requirements for a quality management system — specifically Clauses 4 to 10
